Job Overview
We are seeking a Frontend Web Developer to port our existing iOS app to our website. The candidate will be responsible for matching existing functionality as well as working closely with our backend, iOS & Android team to roll out new screens and features. While iOS experience is not required, it is recommended to ensure feature parity across platforms.
Key Responsibilities
Determine the best React framework to achieve Bloomberg Terminal-like latency (Next.js, Remix, Astro, etc.) Build internal state structures and hooks to achieve technical functionality with React. Port existing SwiftUI components and views to Web using HTML5 and Tailwind. Maintain Tailwind components and themes that align with our brand identity. Quickly debug and resolve technical issues to ensure smooth application performance. Collaborate with team members to ensure development aligns with project goals and roadmap.
Requirements
Minimum 3 years of strong experience with React. Strong experience with at least one major React framework (Next.js, Remix, Astro, etc.) Ability to recreate pages and components from Figma designs and iOS screenshots. Proficiency with API networking, RESTful APIs and JSON parsing. Experience with version control tools such as Git and GitHub pull requests.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience with SwiftUI and the iOS development lifecycle. Familiarity with backend development via JSON-RPC 2.0. Previous experience with the Plaid Link SDK for iOS, Web, and Android. Has built and scaled a mobile or Web app previously.
